Well, I decided to sign up for Google App’s to see how I liked it. So far playing around with it has been nice. I have my email setup there and am slowly getting contacts added for GTalk. It’s also neat since you can do some simple customizations like adding you’re own logo. Here’s a quick screenshot I took:

This actually came at a pretty good time hopefully. I had been searching for a calendar option somewhat, and Google Calendar is pretty decent for my purposes, so having my email and calendar all wrapped up together will do nicely. I was also able to move some of my common documents I like to have floating around with me (such as my resume) moved over to my Documents. It’s not MS-Office (that’s not really meant as a compliment to MS), but it’ll do well for my purposes. It may not all be as robust, but it has the features that I need most commonly. I should be able to figure things out for the other times.I’ll let you know how things go. Let’s just hope that my old problems don’t return, heh.
