The downloadable media quandry

I really agree with the below quote from Fred Wilson.  The reason the movie & music industry keep finding themselves in a losing battle is because they aren’t listening to their customers and providing them with what they want and how they want it.  If they ever start doing that, I really believe they’ll see a significant uptick in sales.

The real solution is to give the customers what they want which is simple, easy, affordable, instant access to the content they want at a reasonable price. When and if the content owners do that, they will be on their way to solving the download problem.
